BODY of WORK
An exhibition by res plumata

Body of Work is a multi-media art show exploring the impact of chronic illness and invisible disability on the body, mind, and spirit.

Body of Work features the concussion series, pieces created in the immediate aftermath of a major traumatic brain injury and throughout ongoing neurological recovery. These works trace grief, rupture, adaptation, persistence, and becoming again in a new world- both internal and external.

After years of living with chronic illness and experiencing a life-altering traumatic brain injury in October, artist res plumata presents work shaped by survival, persistence, and disability as something dynamic, complex, and deeply human, both visible and unseen.

Exhibition Dates: March 4 to March 30
Location: Koneksi Co-Creative Gallery
4777 Commercial St, Clinton, WA 98236

Artist Reception and Fundraiser
Saturday, March 7, 6 to 9 PM
Live music by Lauren Flynn with Corbyn Orchard

The reception will support ongoing vision therapy, neurological rehabilitation, medical care, and basic needs. Original works and prints will be available for purchase at the reception and throughout the exhibit.

This exhibition invites viewers into an honest conversation about illness, disability, survival, and creative persistence. Come be in this BODY of WORK.
